More About Christmas at Pemberley: A Pride and Prejudice Holiday Sequel
This book is definitely the perfect Christmas read! My beloved Darcy and Elizabeth are perfect. They start out about 2yrs and about a week before Xmas. They are stranded in an inn. There trying to get home before christmastide. What happens reaffirms the meaning of Xmas. Back at Pemberley Georgiana is learning her own meaning of Xmas.... I just can't finish this one. I don't even have the patience to read beyond the sixth chapter. It is boring, the writing is awful and what is even more infuriating? The ''author'' had the nerve to copy-paste quotes from Jane Austen's masterpiece in a rather graceless manner. I should have known better...Avoid it like the plague... May I just say... wow....I was thoroughly impressed with this book.[image error]Regina Jeffers took so many characters from Pride and Prejudice, added just a couple more, and then made the most perfect and delicious sequel to Pride and Prejudice. Where do I even begin? Ok, the writing style, though not Austen, is actually excellent...
