I wanted to love this book. I saw so many... What a way to end 2014. This is my first experience with Beukes, so I didn't know what to expect from her storytelling. Conclusion: the woman can write. It is honestly one of the oddest books I have read this year and one of my fastest reads. Beukes is in the same vein as the many female, mystery writers we have gracing us right now....
