Aliens in the gift shop by Morris was full of adventure and non-stop conflict. The aliens had unfamiliar names which slowed me down but not too much. The planet of Xunip figured a short time in the story but most of the adventure was on earth where smells were nearly the death of Zort and Quigbat. They lost the key to their spaceship... Like most successful fiction, Aliens in the Gift Shop starts with an ordinary day that becomes extraordinary. It has all the right ingredients for a SF novel, with just enough pseudo-science and gobble-de-gook to satisfy fans of the genre, but the fast-paced plot and entertaining comedy makes this a good read for anyone who loves a... Got this one as freebie from one of my sites but the next one Aliens and the Race to Earth from kindle unlimited. The 5 star on main rating but the good on the upper is because still trying to figure out just what those stupid ratings even mean, and if everybody agrees that they mean the same thing, who knows. Interesting stories but...
