This was a short read - but don't let that fool you. This story was an emotional roller coaster. The author did a great job pulling the reader into the life and history of the main character. I don't always care for first person POV, but it worked well here. I won't give the ending away, but it took me completely by surprise. Great... Put simply, this short tale is about a sweet-natured slave forced to reevaluate his entire life and the relationship he has built with the man he calls Master. It is the first and, so far, only story I have ever felt moved enough to write a review on (hence the very short and crappy review). It was beautiful and, at times, heartbreaking....
